Transfer Ratings #1 Firmino, Martinez, Kondogbia

8:11

Roberto Firmino.  TSG 1899 Hoffenheim-Liverpool

Why to buy him: Liverpool desperately needs to add quality to their midfield, and players that are able to solve a match on their own.

Why to sell him: An offer Hoffenheim just couldn’t refuse

Is the price right: Well, everybody knows that many english clubs lacks of intelligence at the time of paying for player and Liverpool is no exception. Even though Firmino is a young player that has proven himself in Bundesliga its nonsense to pay a fee close to 40 million euros for him.

Transfer grade: 7/10 If Firmino can adapt quickly to the Premier League the talking about how much Liverpool paid for him will be over, he is young and is potentially a world class player.

Jackson Martinez. FC Porto-Atletico Madrid

Why to buy him: After selling Mandzukic to Juventus, Aleti needed a world class striker to keep on their good run in Spain and Europe.

Why to sell him: Porto has mastered the art of buying cheap and selling for a fortune, they see their top scorer leave but they will find someone to fill his boots.

Is the price right: Martinez was reportedly bought for 35 million Euros so it might be slightly expensive, but if someone has been the top scorer of Liga Portuguesa for three straight seasons you have to pay a lot, right?

Transfer Grade: 8/10 Both parts win with this trade, Jackson playing with the likes of Griezmann and Koke by his side will help him to keep being the scoring machine he is.

Geoffrey Kondogbia. AS Monaco-Inter Milan

Why to buy him: Inter are constructing a team that can fight for Serie A and therefore going to the Champions League, Kondogbia is a young tank that will bring quality to their midfield and could be in the position for a lot of time as he is only 22 years-old.

Why to sell him: Monaco is far from their days as a expending club, but they are working to construct a good team and with the money they are getting they might be able to buy more good young players.

Is the price right: With rivals AC Milan fighting hard for the signing they price went up, but Inter is getting a young player with experience in Spain and France, 30 million Euros is not that bad for him

Transfer Grade: 8/10 Keep an eye on him and Inter this season, they are going for big things.
