CR7 is a true Galactico

A group of astronomers announced wednesday that they have discovered a set of stars that could mark the beginning of the universe after the Big Bang. These stars boosted, according to the document submitted to Astrophysical Journal, the creation of necessary elements to build planets and life before disappearing forever. So far this is a very relevant scientific news, but even more curious is the name that the scientists coordinated by a Portuguese called Dr. David Sobral have chosen is: CR7.

The Galaxy "CR7" is "three times more luminous than all found" concerning that period and "seems to have been composed of hydrogen and helium," Sobral said in statement that were released in the New York Times. CR7 stands for Cosmos Redshift 7, although Sobral, from the University of Lisbon, recognizes that "was inspired in the great Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, also known as CR7".

Astronomers have used telescopes observatories in Chile and Hawaii. These stars would have been "incredibly larger than the sun" and its explosion, "light and fast", "would have spread through space chemical elements that originated stars and the universe enriched with oxygen, carbon and iron".

It's even more curious that Cristiano and his sponsor Nike in the past lunched a line of football cleats named Mercurial CR7 Vapor IX "Galaxy" Boots. They predicted the future?
